Please increase renge of special taunts

Like when you try to taunt your enemy but you have to hug him in order to play a special taunt rather than default one. The range should be way bigger. Is the range right now really that small as seen in champ spotlights on YT? Riot is hiring voice actors and make more and more special interactions with every new champion and they go to waste right now since no one come this close to taunt as they are scared to get hurt.
