What is wrong with matchmaking

Why are the quality of games getting worse? and when I go on my gold V account, everyone feeds 0-10. Every single game they lose their lanes, even if I give them an advantage or push and constantly roam. I believe that the majority of players in gold+ need to be demoted to bronze, because not only do they not have mechanics or macro, they consistently feed. If you get an S every game, your mmr should not drop when you lose games. I am not saying I am an amazing player, but I truly do feel like the people in this elo do not belong here. Normally it is the mental attitude, however 100% of my games have been a disaster from them. There are no even games either, it's legit all stomps haha
