Deathballing is prevalent in both high and low elo.

I'm in my silver/gold game and it's always the team with some small lead just walking as 4-5 with a tank or two and taking over the game. Then I decide to turn on a stream to see some quality gameplay and it's the same deal maybe even worse. Just onesided shitfests.

Why are there no more siege/poke/splitpush comps? Why is having a tank a must now?

I play toplane Nidalee and the only way you can afford to play her is going Resolve>tank. If you try to build damage/bruiser and split you just lose.

I am so sad about this game right now. I'd literally wait 3-6 months for the next patch if it brings back all the other things that used to exist. I know the game is balanced that way because Riot is focused on maintaining it mainly as a sport, but it's so depressing at this point.

Overall the goal of making more people play Ranked was clearly accomplished, but it's way way less competitive than it used to be. Bring back ranked anxiety while we are at it, people play way too casual. All the goosebumps and adrenaline rushes are replaced with people sitting back and farming and transitioning into deathballing.
