Aftershock's Damage?

Before anyone asks, no, I'm not advocating for nerfs, or buffs, really.

But here's the thing. Look at the keystones which deal damage: Press The Attack, Electrocute, Predator, Dark Harvest, Summon Aery, Arcane Comet... they all deal Adaptive damage.

And then there's Aftershock, which can ONLY deal magic damage. Would it be somehow harmful to the game for Aftershock's damage to also be adaptive? Like, if a Rioter tells me they considered it and decided against it then fair enough, but it seems odd that its the only keystone that can directly do damage that doesn't have the Adaptive Quality.

But to offer an example, considering that Darius CAN proc Aftershock, but have armor penetration built into his kit and typically builds Black Cleaver which further shreds his opponent's armor, he would probably benefit more from Aftershock dealing physical damage than magic damage, except perhaps if his entire team was AD and no opponents build MR. But then, if you make that argument, then why would they change the damage of his passive to physical from magic back in the Juggernaut patch?

Renekton, Jarven, Urgot, and even some champions who would probably be less typical in their use of Aftershock, like Riven, Vi or Pantheon, would all benefit from Aftershock dealing adaptive damage, since most of them build armor pen or shred, and/or have it inherently in their kits.

Just a thought I had in a recent game where I had Aftershock.

Most AD champs that can use Aftershock already have really good damage. Wouldn't really be a point in giving them more physical damage. Also the small amount of magic damage can make a difference here and there.
