Darius and carry potential

Yeah his entire concept is about "wait until they do mistake and win". Sadly in higher divisions people outplay that pretty easily. I mean him being carry when someone fail is a good concept. But can we get something else? More like utility or something? Because when you're not able to do your dunking stuff then you're not doing anything for team.

Split pushing? Nah. Too slow to get away with that. Initiating fights? Impossible. Assassination of important champions? Nah. Applying CC for team? Nope.

Guys before you start down voting and mocking at me (or even complaining about Darius being "super tanky and dealing 9000 dmg). Just think about it twice. I am experienced Darius main since 2012. I've never felt that badly and so much dead weight for team ever. It's like I am not doing ANYTHING for my team.

Is there any chance we finally get some real changes that could make him reliable champion? Leave chain dunk as a bonus if someone gets caught off-guard but his main role should be more flexible.

This is just bad concept when you leave some champions as a newbie-casual choices without any potential at high elo/competitive. Darius Garen Illaoi. Let us some chance to shine and may be an option to build team comp around these champions? Not asking for buffs tho. Don't take it wrong.

If he gets more utility, are you willing to give up his ridiculous pile of free stats and his ability to push the majority of melee champions off the wave by simply existing?

Honestly I don't think hes bad, I just think hes a niche pick. Something you pick when the enemy team picks a lethality caster over a ADC.

Dude I completely understand you, I am plat V and I can already see how Darius is much harder to play up there then in gold or silver, and also like you mained him for almost 5 years and I would rather have the old Darius now instead of playing the current Darius, the whole point of his rework was to open more weaknesses in him and yet he remains as one the the most frustrating champions to play against , hell i hate to lane vs him. But I really expected Riot to help Darius out in this lethailty/adc 1 shot/high moblity meta, guess I was wrong. I mean I posted a year ago video of darius W bug on yoricks wall and the bug is still here and you can lose lane so hard because of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEu5oLLbUks

The thing is everyone else got ahead of Darius the meta simply fucked him up sadly.
