Sterak's and maw

Hi.

I know that the new sterak's and maw both have a lifeline so that only one of the shields will be proc'd, however is it true that I've heard people (I don't mean low bronzes) still take both?

For some reason I just have some feeling that despite the lifeline changes, I swear I heard or saw that the items were still SOMETIMES both taken together.
