Ok so I was leveling up an account to try and get it to level 30 as fast as I could. I kept playing intro bots (level 10 and below) and it didn't seem like it gave a lot of XP. Xp granted is based on how long the game is, and win/loss. So mode only has so much to do with it. Theoretically (I know this isn't true, but listen for a sec) intermediates could have no xp difference, except you get more anyway because it takes more than 10 minutes to beat them.
However, I know, and this only applies to SR bots, idk about other map bots, that you get full IP and XP from both beginner and intermediate bots from lvls 1-10, at 11-20 beginner gives less with intermediate giving full still, and at 21-30, both are reduces, with beginner reduced further.
Until level 15, Intermediate bots should be giving the most XP per game, which is calculated at about 25 + 3 * (number of minutes in the game), which is the same formula as normal games. After 15, a 25% (more past 20?) penalty on experience is put on XP gained (for bots only I think?), after which PvP is likely the most efficient way to gain XP. You gain an XP boost for your win of the day as well.
You gain less from bots at higher levels, especially the lower skill bots. So you can play beginner up to level 10, then intermediate until you are 20, then you should play against real players.
I really wouldn't recommend Dominion. The bots don't play it well and you're likely to get (non-official) bots on your team as well, making for shorter games. Intermediate bots is probably your best bet, since games are longer.
