Tryndamere rework?
I'v been thinking this for awhile but don't you think Tryndamere is outdated? His playstyle is completely binary and doesn't really offer much skill expression from the player, his kit has a couple unhealthy aspect(or COULD be unhealthy, or were in the past) and finally, tryndamere's archetype could be much more fleshed out.
Think about it, should berseker barbarian be split pushing or teamfighting? Well in tryndamere's case he ends up split pushing for 90% of the game, i'v seen tryndamere's team fight but rarely is it very useful unless their massively fed. In Tryndamere's case his archetype of an unkillable barbarian king is fucking awesome but his character doesn't seem to fit it very well(except for his R of course) and his playstyle is vastly lacking in most ways, his entire kit really just requires him to right click and press a button if he's in danger, he doesn't have anything that really let's mains of the champion fully express their mastery of the champion because of this. Anyone could pick up tryndamere for a couple games and get the gist of what to and when to do it, after that it's your own ability to make choices not your skill with that champion that decides victory.
In my opinion, Tryndamere should be a fighter(that's what he is now) but should be changed to allow him to teamfight better because it fits his archetype better and doesn't mostly limit him to being a splitpusher(he should still be able to just like all other fighter's). In addition the more unhealthy parts of his kit should be changed to allow the player's skill to play a more vital role. And finally to more easily solidify his weaknesses, for example, currently his ultimate could be up but you'd never know and would end up fighting him and losing because of it simply due to you not being told when tryndamere is at his strongest.
His abilities could still be based on his fury mechanic and he could still have crit chance(not as much cause that's very unhealthy to have passive crit chance) and basically imagine his Q or something was a hige slash in an arc infront of him that could crit(have low base damage cause of that) but also gained him more fury the more champions he hit with it. Also his fury could only be gained by killing minions or attacking champions, monsters and turrets. Then his ultimate could read something like this instead.
R: Undying Rage
Tryndamere can only cast this ability while his fury is maxed.
ACTIVE:Upon activation tryndamere's Fury will start to rapidly deplete but he will also gain fury faster.
Tryndamere will, for the next 2-6/7/8(based on how long he can maintain his fury) seconds become unable to die, during this time tryndamere's health bar cannot drop bellow a certain amount.
Undying Rage can be used while under the effects of Crowd Control.
Then in order to counterbalance this his Fury could be stacked over time and take awhile before starting to drain on it's own, giving both him and his enemy a window to know what to do(his "Counterplay")
If you want i can post a full rework concept later but i really do think Tryndamere is a promising champion to rework, his archetype is fucking awesome but he's kind of not delivering on it the best he could.
