Late game champions
This post went in 2 different directions. Late Game carry Veigar was having problems in early game meta so you let his Q passive that gave him ap for killing units With Q and ap from killing champions Snowball out of control by letting it activate any time he touched an enmey champion with his skills. Nasus was having trouble in early game meta being a late game stacker. when you constantly nerfed armor and defensive items So you gave his ult defensive stat scaling and after that went further and let his ult cut his q cooldown in half. Why? Why was Zillean's w's ability to reduce his ult cooldown removed when its far less broken than these other 2 changes. Zillean's ult is an effective heal that only activates on death which is far less powerful than a heal that can just flat out prevent getting close to death in the first place like lifesteal and ekko's ult because of the stasis its like the person who gets ulted still did die any way at least for the 2 seconds they are in stasis meaning just like mages always saying Zhonya's Hourglass has to be used properly or you can get surrounded during it or it just gets wasted its the same thing for Zillean's ult except unlike hourglass you can not let it activate at all. Riot says they like to rotate meta's too but they haven't done that since season 3 into season 4 from season 4 to now its been one continuous early game meta where sometimes the carries change. They are pushing late game champions into early game without dropping any of their strenghts and leaving the restinvalid in late game and by doing that they push out early game champions that do fall off and late game champions that dont snowball easily. Just like the first 2 champions riot did the same thing when they increased critical chance rate. Made high ap items with large cooldown reducion stats on them. General lowering of cooldowns on adcs mages and assassin.
