I am about to buy Riven and before I start practicing with her I want to know how to AA cancel.

Well... you click somebody... then you click away before it attacks... and bam AA has been canceled.

Press all the buttons at the same time and they die :D

You can cancel animations by interrupting abilities with another abilities - to remove ult animation you can E+ult and smack them. People buy tiamat, because it's the best item to combo with riven's abilities.
