Swain rework idea where Swain and Beatrice are core.
Passive, We are one: Swain and Beatrice share a bond with each other. All of Swain's spells are cast through Beatrice. Swain does not have auto attacks but instead has Beatrice attack for him which deals magic damage based on total AD and some AP. Beatrice can't be attacked or targetted unless detached from Swain. Both share seperate health bars. If Beatrice dies, he/she will respawn after a set period of time. If Beatrice is dead Swain gets the ability to auto attack. Beatrice does not apply on hit effects except apply red buff and sheen.
Q, You are all worms. Passive: Whenever an enemy champion, large monster, or cannon minion is killed by Swain's team, Swain, or Beatrice they drop a piece of their flesh that Beatrice can devour. Whenever Beatrice devours the flesh he/she(don't know the gender) gets stronger. Beatrice evolves after devouring 5/10/20/35 pieces of flesh gaining health, increased damage through autos and spells, and slightly bigger. Also affects R form spells.
Active: Sends Beatrice to target location and shares a tether with Swain. The tether inflicts some of the damage Beatrice receives back to Swain more or less splitting the damage up. Cannot kill Swain and if Swain breaks the tether by moving too far Beatrice comes back to his shoulder. Swain will auto attack through Beatrice(as stated in passive) but cannot auto attack on his own unless Beatrice is dead. Beatrice will return to Swain after a period of time or if Swain recasts the ability. If he recasts it it costs mana. Each point in this spell will reduce Beatrice's death timer, the cooldown of this spell, and increase his R form Q damage.
W, Never move: This is the only spell Swain can use on his own. He casts a spell on target location which after a short delay will root and damage all enemies still within the circle. Alternatively if Swain hovers his cursor over Beatrice he will instead have Beatrice cast it on him/herself(this ability will have a relatively short/moderate range)
E, Torment(not same as live): Swain casts through Beatrice a skill shot. When the ability hits a target that target has a DoT inflicted on them for the next 3 seconds which slows them and deals damage. Each rank of Beatrice eating flesh increases the slow and damage except the last evolution. Once Beatrice devours 40 pieces of flesh this ability will instead cast 3 Torments that will stun if the enemy is hit by 2 or more. Deals 50% damage after the first if hit by multiple. Can move Beatrice around while casting it(think Velkoz R)
R, Ravenous transformation: Swain and Beatrice fuse and transform into a monstrous Raven. Swain and Beatrice fuse their health bars together but only add 100% of Swain's health and 50% of Beatrice's. Drains mana per second while active which increases the longer they are fused. Swain gets a new Q while ulted and bonuses to his other spells based on how much flesh Beatrice has devoured.
New Q, Ravenous Flock: Swain unleashes a flock of Ravens in target direction that swarm all enemies in its path. Alternatively if Swain recasts Q the flock disperses and attacks all enemies in an area around where they dispersed. Ravens prioritize low health targets and deal bonus damage to targets below 50% max health. The flock stops when cast as a skillshot if they collide with a champion or large monster and swarm and follow that target for 2 seconds. If the flock kills an enemy they return to Swain and heal him for a % of that enemies max health. The flock can be targetted and killed. Each rank of devouring flesh increases the damage to lower health enemies and the heal. At 40 devoured flesh the flock increases in size by about 30%.
W bonus in R form: the aoe is larger and increases spell casting range by about 40%. At 10 devoured flesh the W inflicts a slow for 1 second after the root which increases with more devoured flesh.
E bonus in R form: can only fire 1 Torment no matter what rank Beatrice is at and becomes a skill shot but Swain can charge the ability, rooting him in place while charging. If he charges for at least 1 second Torment instead becomes a linear skillshot(Xerath Q) with moderate range(think Illaoi Q). The spell then becomes a channeled ability that can last for up to 2 seconds and drains mana the longer it is used. The charged version deals bonus damage the longer the enemy is it by hit, dealing more than his regular E after 0.75 seconds of staying in the path.
