Why is Rakan getting nerfed, but Janna, Lulu, and Soraka are untouched?

Worlds is coming up, so none of these changes are particularly aggressive, but we do want to make sure that some of the dominant outliers get tapped down a bit, and some popular picks who have fallen out of favor see some love. Because the stability of this patch is so important, we’re holding back on deeper changes that we’re still investigating, but we’ll be revisiting those champions and items in future patches.
Neither Janna, Lulu, or Soraka are mainstream competitive picks right now. Rakan is. These past like 5 patches have all been mostly centered around pro play, and this last one in it's entirety (well, except for Ornn changes, but most of those were hotfixes this past patch cycle).
As I love playing Rakan, I am disappointed to see him being the only support nerfed when there are far more cancerous champions to target, such as Sona, who targeted spams her Q ability and half-shots my adc with little to no outplay potential, or Janna who makes it near impossible to engage without being severely punished.
I fucking called that shit. Remember when they kept buffing him for no reason and I said he'ss gonna get nerfed due to overbuffing when people figure out how to play him after he sees pro play?
Well here we friggin are.
Remember, they never do changes for (only) actual balancing purposes.
Why would they nerf soraka? I quit playing her because they nerfed her so much
An ''LC$BIGPLAYS'' champ got nerfed. Where is everyone complaining that rito never nerfs ''lcs'' champs?
because his engage was way too strong?
Pick/Ban in Pro Play. He's too good at everything atm. While maybe not shinning enough in SoloQ, he's definitely stomping Pro Play. And this patch is aimed to balance the game around Worlds.
A recent censor nerfs in the works?
Rakan needs an even harder nerf because he has a fucking malphite ult on an 8 second cooldown, oh but it does no damage? I'd trade ALL of malphites damage to have a fucking cc leap every 8 seconds.
Depending on how hard that dash speed nerf is on his W it could be a buff. His late game R has 20s shaved off which is pretty massive.
The fact that Janna and Lulu need nerfs dosent mean that Rakan dosent need nerfs..he IS TOO strong...and they dont actually nerf him they make him more skillful....i know to bad players this sound like a nerf
