I suck so much and I have no idea what to do to improve

I can't even cs because no matter where I go it seems my lane opponent just knows how to poke me away. I try to return but just end up eating a fuck ton of damage. It's so frustrating because I play this game so much and watch so many vids and I still suck dick. To me it's not nearly as simple as getting more cs like most people say. People I play against know how to completely dominate their lane. I don't know how to do that. Am I playing the wrong champs?

Look for guides on how to play the game on youtube. I really enjoy watching donghuap because he is very informative and he is funny.

You probably don't take into account such simple things as CD, Mana, AA farming, poke, movement pattern. CD. did enemy use ability recently ? Are my abilities on CD to trade back ? Mana.Do I have enough Mana to trade back/stay in line, should I sacrifice mana or HP (if that's the case) ? AA farming. avoid farming with abilities for now, learn to farm with AA, thus you save Mana and still a threat to opponent. Use ability only if you feel you won't get cs Poke. For most champions you want to be the one who pokes or at least hit some abilities into opponent. That's why you don't waste mana and put abilities on CD while farming. If opponent goes into you, you have all resources to trade Movement pattern. Watch enemy movements to hit skillshots and predict trade or cs.

I think you should know all of this from vids, the main question is do you apply this knowledge ?
