Nexus Blitz: Why does Rift Herald also give baron buff?

I like the game mode a lot but I think it has a few problems. The biggest being that someone getting Rift is basically a game ender.

It’s hard enough to stop the Rift from blowing up your turrets, it feels impossible to also stop baron buffed minions from destroying the little remaining health the turrets have after getting hit by Rift while also dealing with enemy champions that have increased damage.

I think when you get Rift, you should only be able to spawn Rift, nothing else.
