What's gonna bring back the old items' passives/actives, and when?

So here's everything Riot took out: 20% Item CDR 50% movement proc from damaging champs/turrets Icy Things A shield that regenerates over time A shield to give your ally A Janna passive A Sivir ult with less "HUAHHHH"

Which of these does Riot want to keep? Why not all of them? Why do we have to wait?

The new items are called remnants for a reason. The same way a giant shit on the floor is a "Remnant of a once great feast."
