Autofill is ruining the game and skewing win rate stats

Too many times jungle role gets autofilled.

Too many times.

Riot has made jungler the lynch pin of too many games, the deciding factor, the wild card. And that role which is important, is getting autofilled with people that neither selected it nor really might not be ready for the task.

Its throwing too many games.

50% WR on champs is affected by this. You cant have a balanced win rate when people are being autofilled into roles they either dont understand well or know they dont play well.

Autofill must be opt in, possibly with LP bonus for having it selected. Otherwise its just not fair to the other 4 people playing on the team...

And its not fair for all the "balancing" on 50% win rate where champs that simply must be nerfed are artificially held down with losses with autofilled games.

why cant people seem to get this through their head?

auto fill isnt new. it was just forced fill in champ select. back before role selection was a thing. people got roles based on pick order. and the last pick/last two picks on other side were forced to fill whatever roles werent selected.

and it was common for those roles to be support and jungle majority of the time. people need to learn to adapt and play more then 1 role/champ and if you are in a situation where you get filled into a role you dont play. say something in champ select , chances are someone will swap. if not. dodge. its 3lp in rank and dont effect your mmr.

Autofill is necessary for the queue system to work, and its a much better system than first pick first call.

get rid of role select. bring back pick order. that way people will know how to play the game so it doesn't matter what the actual play rate of roles is along with people getting filled, because everyone will be prepared to fill. AND THEN we can play some real league of fucking legends again.

I feel like most games are lost due to autofills/afk/1st time playing champ in ranked/hard troll or randomly tilted player starting flame wars instead of playing, rather than anything else like player skill level, esspecially when you are not a solo carry champion/role, u can pretty much do nothing.

Also the new autofill select, sometimes bumps mains out of their position, because people dont select secondary as whatever so they steal main role of someone creating 2 autofills for no reason. You might aswell fill whatever instead of forcing double autofill, that is what bothers me tbh.

I don't understand why we pick a secondary position at all. We could pick a third and a fourth too, just please don't make us go to our least favorite role. If I know it negatively impacts the team and my attitude towards the whole game, is auto-filling really a valid way to play? Games are supposed to be challenging, and at times disappointing, yes, but I'm honestly not having a fun experience if I am playing a role that I know I don't want. It would be better if we selected the two roles we'd would prefer not to play.
