So when is Mercurial Scimitar getting a price reduction

Seriously guys, 'been waiting since season 3.

The wiki says the item is only 96% gold efficient without its active. I know that Maw of Malmortius is only 92% gold efficient at base, but when you start taking damage it quickly ramps up its efficiency to a whopping 165% gold efficiency, where as Scimitar's doesn't change. Then there's dervish blade, which got its cost reduced by 300 gold in the same season it was added, making it 100.6% gold efficient without the active.

Now there the "actives": Maw of Malmortius kinda wins here because of lifeline active alone which grants a 400 magic damage shield for 5 seconds on a 90 second cooldown.

Where-as Dervish Blade and Mercurial Scimitar's actives clear ALL Debuffs (CC, Ignite, Exhaust, lots of ults, and almost all other DOTs) and grants 50% movespeed, sounds great right? Until you realize its only for 1 second, you don't have a 400 magic shield saving you from DrMundo's auto-cleavers, you don't have the potential **95 AD **, and it is ALSO on a 90 second cooldown, while maw's damage passive is always active. It essentially becomes useless against anyone with low cooldown CC or anyone with more than 1 CC ability.

I'd say its better on ranged champs than Maw but when you get caught out its better to be a little tankier than a little bit farther away, you'll just get caught again.

TL;DR, Mercurial scimitar is to expensive for how little it actually helps, seems great on paper, then you realize item 3022, item 3025, item 3143, and item 3116 are items, and Ahri, Akali, JarvanIV, and LeeSin are champions.

Even more TL;DR, a good LeeSin or JarvanIV + item 3022 = useless active.
