I have a small suggestion

Scroll down for a TL;DR (but I encourage you to read the post! :D)

Idk if this is the appropriate spot to post this, or if posting on the PBE boards would be more suitable, but I have an idea. The main communication pings (assistance, danger, fall back, on the way), when pinged, have a notification pop up in the chatbox with the person's IGN who pinged it, but the normal pings (alt+click or g+click) don't give a name or champ on who pinged it, unless they ping a champion, monster, or structure. We've all had games I'm sure where there's someone spam pinging somewhere on the terrain or on an individual for no reason and you tell them to stop but you don't know who it is, exactly. Or you may have some scenarios (I only say this from personal experience) where someone spam pings a certain area or somewhere in a teamfight that throws off communication with someone retorting something along the lines of "that wasn't me that pinged that," or "who pinged that." Baron calls and dragon calls are similar situations. Or in minor instances (sometimes minor) someone other than the jungler pings either blue buff or red buff, and the mid laner or adc takes it, respectively, but the jungler wasn't the one who pinged it. Or you can have someone pinging something like someone else is pinging it, causing the person who was thought to be pinging it spam v+click or something to say "i wasn't pinging that!"

NOW. Like mostly everything, this does have potential to cause ragewars and what not such as "wow mumu what a great baron call. threw the game gg" or something along the lines of blaming people if pings don't turn out as great as anticipated. But this sort of puts a responsibility to the person who's pinging it. Sort of adds more communication to the normal blue circle pings, I think.

No, no I'm not suggesting that it be (if it were to be implemented) displayed in the chatbox like the other pings. That'd be too much spam for anyone. But I was thinking maybe have a little circle or something above where your teammates champ icons are located above the map. Maybe like a small thing above them saying they pinged. Or something. There's some times where spamming pings is understandable, like in a teamfight or at a time where things are kinda intense, but more times than not it's just annoying, like someone spam pinging a teammates corpse. No matter how many times you spam my dead champ it won't revive me or make me play any better (not to sound like I feed or do bad or anything, but I've seen it plenty of times in games of people harassing others) and having a specified champ assigned to those spam pings can make them eligible for being reported for spamming, right? If it's excessive.

Again, this is a -small- suggestion. Just something I thought of while playing. No, you don't see it every game and idk if it's seen enough for this idea to be considered, but I know we've had our share of spam pings.

TL;DR - Add some kind of notification on the g+click or alt+click (blue circle on map) pings to who pinged it for the sake of better team communication. I'm open to any kind of criticism or maybe added thoughts on if my idea could be tweaked any.

-Thanks!
