riot seems to have a hate boner for him so I can't imagine riot buffing him

I always seem to be shitted on by them. There are a few exceptions here and there. But most shacos seem to be decent

If you're good a good player he's a good champion.

They kinda destroyed ap shaco

does everything better outside of the tricks with boxes. Pick shaco only to troll your team and the enemies. Some people just love to chase the shaco, lb, lee sin, riven around the map...

*i like playing shaco.In my opinion he is weak. *The shiv does much less dmg then it used to(pretty much non existant dmg). *They should give him more bursty dmg in his kit.I find my self using items for dmg then shaco abilities(duskblade,protobelt,trinity). *And the red trinket,control ward ,duskblade dont just reveal but also deactivate the traps,which is annoying.U play shaco top ap and if they put a control ward in middle of lane all box get deactivate for a very big range(like very big range didnt expect that much range on control ward) *If they stand in box or your ult u will win early and mid game,but in late game it fells like u have no scaling *advantages of shaco are u easily get away with q,can gank from many path, can counterjungle well, low cd ult,can take dragon. *riot tried to let ap shaco be a thing when they reworked him but now they have just given up on it. *his q is the only thing that seems good so just give more burst dmg and reliable boxes and some more ap scaling

I do not get why Riot would ruin great hybrid champions and force you to play a certain way.

I did find him interesting because he was the "joker" on the team.

You could do anything with him, Tank/Mage/Assassin - but for whatever reason riot wants to force down a build on him with Duskblade/Ghostblade/IE etc... I believe @"Ryuumoku no koke" had a link for that.

I know some paths were greater than others - but that was what were appealing to me - the "one for all" champion. With no scaling on his abilities anymore, and the conversion on his TwoShivPoison from magic to physical damage - I do not see AP shaco being a thing anymore.

And with all his base damage gone I do not see him as a tank/bruiser type either.

the only thing you can play him as, and what the "developing" team wants you to play is as an assassin - that's bullshit.

MAKE SHACO GREAT AGAIN!

What I find most disturbing though is getting used to his 1.5 s level 1 Decieve ... and the 0.75 fear... :)

honestly if you like to mess around with people's minds shaco is the champ for you. I dont care how weak he may be, the feeling of outplaying someone or tricking them with ult or boxes will always stand out as a part of this champ

fun only because lethality is op right now, annoying as ap but falls off and not that good.

Shaco is decent right now. Changing his E to physical damage plus the lethality buffs makes him viable as an AD assassin, but he's not really good for anything else now. He's up for a VGU in the not too distant future so there's that.

Make ap shaco great again xd

The rework they gave him around a year and a half ago made him stronger with a hybrid build than he was before the rework. But it also killed a lot of his alternative builds. The rework killed his onhit build and severely weakened his bruiser build. You pretty much had to go hybrid or ad, with ap still feeling gimmicky. Then riot remove the ap scaling on his q, which killed ap shaco and hybrid shaco. So now you are left with a very weak bruiser shaco and ad shaco. Then riot reduced base damage on e and increased its scaling, and changed its damage to ad, basically eliminating all build diversity for shaco.

You can't first-pick shaco. Not only are there many strong counters (rek'sai, tf, lee sin), but the other team can pick tankier champs that glass-cannon ad shaco can't play against. Without Shaco's alternative builds, you can't adapt your playstyle as the situation warrants.

Shaco is still fun to play, but he is weak. He really struggles versus a variety of teamcomps and even when the stars align you will probably struggle.

Also, he has a really weak early game now, but he needs to get fed to be able to assassinate.

He's weak.

Shaco is good atm. But riot will rework him and add some counterplay.
