I think we need to have a talk on the difference between "unbalancable" and "wasnt balanced"

I see people saying stuff like "new Irelia is unbalancable, new Akali is unbalancable, every champion for the last year and a half is unbalancable."

When in actuallity they arent that hard to be balanced with a slight numbers nerf.

But Riot doesnt give these champions these nerfs for a solid 3-4 months following their release, and people have so much PTSD, that they shirk whenever they see those champions despite them being perfectly fine.

"Balanced" doesn't necessarily refer to a 50% win rate. It can also refer to whether a champ feels fair to play against, whether a champ performs consistently, and so on. For example, many players are still frustrated when playing against Akali and feel that she's too strong, and yet her win rate is in the low 40s. This is something we often see in "feast or famine" champs that either get ahead and obliterate everything or fall slightly short of that and are utterly useless.

The problem with irelia os her assasin lvl burst with 2/3 damage/tank items (depending on how you see titanic hydra and steraks). Its not just irelia that has this issue, all the triforce building bruisers through out this insane damage.

Unpopular opinion, although akali (and zed) are complete pain in the asses to deal with, they are by far and away two of the most fair assasins to deal with. they have telegraphed burst as apposed to the out of nowhere boom from a lot of point and click older assasins and burst mages
