Like literally just dont trade with him at lvl 1, dodge his q, stay away when he has e, I kite him and i win game ez pz. I am a renekton main so you guys probably know he counters Darius but also Jax is op vs darius to completely f**k him up when he tries to aggro me when i have dodge.
Anything that can get ontop of him when his Q is about to go off is good against him. Only low elos have actual problems with Darius and shitty tank mains because they dont understand that they are not supposed to win lane against a champion that is BUILT TO COUNTER THEM. It's like telling me to pick Yasuo into annie try to fight her die and then complain about her. No just no. He doesnt even scale THAT well in fights he relies on hitting alot of Q's to heal cause he isnt a real tank and he melts fast. You know how fun it is to have an irelia / Kha top jungle camping you then you buy armor to survive and duel them only to get fkn oneshoted by the Brand/Malz/Zyra supp? fun times.
Eventually people will realize just how uncalled-for the darius nerfs were. It's a combination of low elo shitters and tank mains who couldn't handle being unkillable broken pieces of crap with their courage keystone who cried and got darius nerfed.
Now that courage rightfully sucks ass during lane phase, we may just see a weak darius.
Because he barely has any counterplay, he has counterpicks. Your options if he happened to pick after you are to either stay away and lose CS, or feed.
I mean, sure, sometimes I get the chance to counterpick him and shit on him from afar. But sometimes the team just NEEDS a tank and suddenly things just got much more grim for me.
Playing Kayle into him was pretty hellish, he kept all inning me at every chance forcing me to back constantly.
