My friend is relatively new, and im a returning player who was never any good; so I'm not much better than him; but we're level 20 and playing against people who are level 80;
And whats worse is atleast two players in every match have like 20 kills and do some crazy ass stunts and carry every game; so no matter what we do it's trivial because the two smurfs who want to flex on new players just roll everyone...
How are we supposed to learn?
if youre playing on a smurf as well, your MMR is pooled and you therefore face opponents much, much harder then he can handle. and if its EVERY game, i assure you its not a smurf.

If you want your friend to learn the game without facing smurfs, you can't play with them. Simply queing with you, a smurf, is enough to get them dragged into "smurf matchmaking".
Playing against good players are the best way to learn what are you talking about?
let him quit early before he gets sucked into the cancerfest these players are showing him. how every game is gonna be unless your a challanger player then your magically gonna win every match 1v9 by breaking your mouse/facerolling the keyboard. takes hammer to keyboard and mouse??? pentakill!!! profit????
Have your friend play twisted tree line, it might have the same issues idk but the game will be faster and they can spend less time confused by the scale of things on the rift as they focus more on basics.

you need an account his level and mmr. Then rush to draft ASAP so you two can ban out op stuff to learn the game better. Ban the stuff you lose against most and give constructive critizism to eachother
