Blue Essence Mystery Champion

I'm a little upset about trying to buy new champions. I only have 9 left that I don't own and I saw there were mystery champions for 3950 BE which is less than the 6300 BE that all 9 of them are normally priced for. So I figured I would just spend some of my 70K BE on those to get some of those champions. I got a message saying that in order to buy a Mystery Item there must be at least 10 items available in the item pool and that I only had 9 items available so I can't buy a Mystery Champion from the BE store. Does anyone know if it is supposed to be like that and if it is why it works this way? I don't really want anything else from the Essence Emporium and now can't even buy the one thing I was planning on using my BE on.

I'm more confused as to why it matters for you.....you said you only have 9 that you don't have and that they're all at the 6300 value mark and that you have 70K BE with nothing else you want to spend it on. 6300*9 = 56,700 so why do you even need to bother with the mystery chest when you can just buy them outright??????? i get it'll save you a but of BE but if there's nothing else that you want from the store why does it matter??

hmm.. I guess that's what they do to "fix" mystery champions... I should have spent all my BE on them before this update...(instead of spending 10k BE for the cute icon...the icons can wait...) It used to work like a hextech chest set right after the 7.22 update you can even buy more and save them for newer champion release...(not sure if it is still the case for unused shards after the "fix" or update)...

I get this same error message, except that I do have 10 champions still left that I don't own. Is there something else that would prevent you from being able to buy a mystery champion?

It shouldn't work like that, it let me buy them with only 5 champs left

Uhh this didn't happen for me, I bought the last 4 champions I needed on day one of the new patch, got Rakan, Vel'koz, Azir, and Aurelion Sol... did they change it since then?

its supposed to be that way lol otherwise itd let me cheat since ive owned every champ for the longest time and zoe is the only one i dont own. then there wouldnt be a mystery because itd give me the one and only champ i dont own. i feel its mainly for new players to catch up and get new people to try.

I'm sorry for you but yes it works like that, you must have a minimum of 10 champion you don't own to buy this, its like the mystery boxes, i think its because Riot dont want to lose money on this kind of shit, sorry for the bad english im French o/ see you on the rift :p summoner 4 [slayer-jinx-wink]
