Could we perhaps get an AD version of lich bane for AD casters?

With the changes to triforce we see the removal of crit for CDR and attack speed.

While i dont think this change is wrong, its better for the item as a whole, i do think that it feels bad for many champs that currently use this item, from corki to gangplank to ezreal.

So what im suggesting is, rather than ensuring that new triforce is just as good for champs it shouldnt be good on as champs it should, creating an item that would suit these other characters more than the current triforce, using an effect that utilizes bonus AD instead of base AD, making it better for champs that build AD and weaker for tanks and such with high base stats.

Here is an example: shockblade 40AD, 30% crit, 10% cdr, 300 mana Builds from sheen, cloak of agility, pickaxe

UNIQUE – SPELLBLADE: After using an ability, your next basic attack (on-hit) deals 100% base attack damage and X% of bonus AD as bonus physical damage. (1.5 second cooldown)

X tbd, 50% - 100%? what ever is healthy

This item wouldnt be desirable on champs like udyr, trundle and others due to the critical strike chance tacked on, but would be highly desired on champs like gangplank, AD caster varus and other champs that want bonus AD scaling.

This would also provide a great counterpart to more spell focused ADCs who love essense reaver by also incorporating their auto attacks more, rather than just their spells.

We already have an AD-equivalent to Lich Bane.

It's called "auto attacks."

@topic

Trinity force was not intended to be a crit item. it wasnt until zeal was changed into a crit only item that trinity force got crit; it originally had AP and 50% attack speed i think? It was a fighter item designed for irelia and jax.

While i dont agree with "we need an AD sheen item" i DO aggree with "we need a manaless sheen item". I feel; Sheen+BF sword+serated dirk would be alright;

60AD, 20A-pen, and a 150% sheen proc would be an idea.

I don't see a point, Most AD casters don't spec for crit anyway, and those that do are Lucian build it elsewhere.

So an item that gives AD champions their primary damage stat while also enhancing their auto attacks?

Every AD item already does that, because that's what AD does.

What is going on in this forum?

My thread has been downvoted to hell and nobody has really offered any decent reasons or anything, if you downvote at least leave a reason otherwise it just looks like trolling

Frankly, even if the changes hit live (I was under the impression they were still experimental), Triforce will work fine for AD casters. Another Sheen item would either be flat out broken or be redundant - there would be few reasons to buy it if it didn't flat-out give you more damage.

You mean basically every other sheen item?

LIch bane as an item is designed to help AP champions take down towers. AD champions (specifically the ranged ones) already do that effectively, so adding an item to enhance that doesn't make sense.

Tanks get IBG Fighters get TF mages get LB ADCs already destroy turrets naturally, they don't need an item to help with that.

ADCs who bought TF were simply using an item that wasn't intended for them because it was stat bound incorrectly when zeal was added to its path.

I feel like the stats are a bit overloaded; You've got 4 base stats on one item, and you have 30% Crit. The raw stats it gives I feel will still have Trundles and Udyrs buildling it, and having relative success. Otherwise, it's a pretty good item; I can't comment on Triforce, since I don't know the changes, but otherwise I agree.

your intended group would not even use it but assasins would

No. Lich bane is barely fair as-is.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like ya'll are trying to design an item to nicely synergize a lichbane into Jhin's kit? aye? which would be sweet, cause I love jhin, and he is more AD caster than an actual auto heavy typical marksmen sooo yea, whatever is balanced an fair but adds something cool like that to him, proc it off his 4th shot, nuke someone...
