Leave Athene's and Morellonomicon as they are.

The changes to these items are horrible and im sure many other people agree that they dont want these changes to go through.

Worst of all is that the reasoning used to make these changes is based entirely on falsehoods.

  1. Xypherous - " AP mids with these items have infinite mana" False, it is EXTREMELY easy to go oom with either of these items in lane or any extended teamfight/skirmish on many different champions. If you have blue buff as well sure, you probably have infinite mana, but why the hell should AP champions or their items be balanced around a neutral buff? If you're gonna do that give every AD champion in the game a massive attack speed nerf thats only increased with Red Buff. Even if they did have infinite mana, many champions have skillshots that can be missed or dodged as their primary source of damage which is already a disadvantage, why the hell shouldnt they have the opportunity to use a large amount of spells without going oom?

  2. Xypherous - "These items have game health issues" Really? Because im not seeing them. Every AP champion on whom Athenes or Morello's is core is totally dominating the game right? Most of the champions picked in pro play currently dont even use them, probably because mid lane has been taken over by ADCS and other AD champions. Furthermore these items have existed for years and at no point have AP champions been totally overpowered because of them.

  3. Xypherous - "Trinity of stats on these items (AP/CDR/Regen) has game health issues" Awesome, lets just completely nerf items that certain champions are entirely balanced around building making them utter trash in the process, that sounds like its great for 'game health'.

  4. Xypherous - "Just buy Tear and Morello's" So let me get this straight, I have have to buy 2 items simply to not go oom all the time where as before i only needed 1? How is this not a massive nerf to AP champions? How does this not completely destroy build diversity?

There is literally not a single good reason that these changes should be made.
