One easy step to make honor important again

This is quite simple. First, lets all agree that flaming are rampant in this game and community. The toxic levels of this game are higher than ever before, each month, week and day breaking new records.

Second, the current algorythm for matchmaking, are climed to be so good, that it can handle the dynamicQ addon without problems. Hence, there shouldnt be any problems adding a small factor more to it.

My suggestion are to make numbers of honors count, strangers only, when running matchmaking. Premades are uneglibe for obvious reasons. People with high amount of honors and that has a high number of honoring should by far meet others with equal statistics on their own team.

This will create an atmosphere were the flamers will meet theyre equals, and positive people will do the same. The best thing is that it will make the honor system count again. Now, its merly a token system of gratitude when you once in a blue moon encounter a friendly team. With this simple implementation, every honor made will mean a difference, forcing every player out there to think twice before honoring someone.

This could risk a "prisoners' island" of flamers that would be impossible to escape (because toxic players don't honor people).

In theory i could see something like this working. But then how would this work with matchmaking? Like say you are a bronze player with good honors and then a majority of the bronze player set within your matchmaking is toxic? Would this basically mean the positive bronze player be grouped with a higher rank (silver) than actually playing with people with the same skill set?

This still creates a "prisoner's island" scenario, and won't happen.

No because if someone never gets honors even though they're nice, that person will be stuck with flamers.
