Well, potentially several questions if you're willing to talk with me. I am a Mordekaiser main who reached Gold 3 last season and aiming much higher this season.

What is your opinion on Void Staff, particularly an early one (after Rylai's)? I see that you like numbers as much as I do. I can't ever imagine going without it. Yet, you have and to the same success.

I also wanted to chat about our build differences. After Rylai's, Void then Gunblade, I carry on building damage. Your build after Rylai's and Gunblade is tankier. What is your opinion on bruiser kaiser compared to full damage Kaiser?

Truth be told, I loved to build an early void staff pre-rework but Morde isn't a burst mage anymore. Still, it's a great option if the enemy's being cowardly and building tons of MR, which warrants a void staff buy.

Look at it this way; All the damage in the world won't mean a thing if you're not alive to make any use of it. Mordekaiser is inherently very lethal due to his great total AD scaling and thus doesn't have to invest greatly into offense. Riot put it this way "You won't build to do damage but rather to actually survive long enough to deal damage", this is why building a Hybrid build that relies on a strong defense to actually deal obscene amounts of DPS is generally the safer, less risky and overall more consistent build.

The recent changes to his Children of the Grave made it all the less appealing to stack loads of AP due to the damage being less of a nuke and more of a DoT

Hope I gave you some insight as of why I build Morde this way.

Thanks to the people who posted this and on this MM and Azrael specifically its really inspired me to play Mordy again after the rework. He's one of my favorite champs, I got my first pentakill with old Mordekaiser, and I've been at a loss on how to play him since his whole ADC phase (I am terrible in that role no matter what champion I play). So i just wanted to say thanks.

I have a Question too, do you think allowing morde to cast W on Wards would be a good and fun buff to him.

So would running scaling AD runes be better on mord than AP runes?
