Why do I always get matched up with gold players and up?

I'm sick of being matched up with golds and up! This has been happening since last season. I don't play ranked at all, except last season I played only 10 ranked games and had an 80% (8 wins and 2 losses) win rate according to lolking.net. Is that ("that", referring to my 80% win rate) what is contributing to my matchmaking? I just want to play with players on the same level as me. Is it possible for me to get matched up with players on my skill level? Or am I stuck with gold/platinum/diamond players forever?
