Best Supports To a OTP
If i were to main a single supp chamsp and become a one trick with them which one should i get. I prefer tanky supp that wont die easily and have good engages and cc. Some thing like blitz or thresh.

I personally don't like either of those two champions you are considering. Thresh is very predictable and usually works best if you are communicating with team (not just chat), otherwise I find it enjoyable to wail on Thresh, and Blitz is the same case except his worse. If you miss your hook with Blitz you pretty much have to be a distraction to be useful for team fights, but then again one hook can win you game if win is still a possibility that is.
I would recommend Naut, his one of my favorites and you can play with your build a lot too which is awesome because with Blitz and Thresh you pretty much go usual nonsense for supports.
I also enjoy Braum but I find it hard to win games with him currently. I think best way to go with him is protect ADC with shields and other support items but even then its very hard to keep some players alive especially in solo q.
I love playing Shen so I would recommend him, his very enjoyable to play and your build with him is also very flexible. He does take some getting used to but its pretty cool to make cross map plays as a support :).
I honestly just don't think Tank supports are that good this season (sadly...they are my favorite)...I do agree with Alterluz, if you really want to go tank, then 
is probably the best choice right now also considering you have to choose a secondary role he can go top (of course you will get support 99.9% of the time but just in case)

I would not attempt Thresh unless you're going to main him. He's not as tanky as he seems, and to use him well, you need to have some instinct. His hook to pull, to lantern to melt isn't as easy as it seems. You also need to have lantern saves in your blood.
Blitz is fine. I'd also suggest Braum, Nautilus, and Moakai. Implied here is that you should really check a guide, Champion.gg, and some threads before giving them a spin. Being a tank isn't the coolest right now, so you can't just show up and take wins.
Even though she isn't a tank, I absolutely love 
on my team even though I don't usually play ADC. If you get really good at her she's one of the hardest carry supports (in my opinion) out there.
thresh is good to one trick for me that's how i got to silver this season so far :3
