To all those saying Lee Sin needs a nerf

He doesn't.

Seriously, stop complaining and learn how to counter play him. Instead of taking the time to whine about him being "overpowered," why don't you take the time to learn how to beat him?

Lee Sin isn't overpowered. What he is, however, is versatile and consistent.

Lee Sin has gap closers, escapes, slows, sustain, okay tankiness, and a decently high damage output. His jumps are more versatile than anyone save Katarina and Jax (Who only need one skill to jump to all the things, which is fine, both of them are in decent places) or anyone who doesn't need a target to jump to.

His versatility leads to what the real issue is: Lee Sin is arguably the most consistent champion in the game. There are very few team comps that Lee does not fit will in and very few situations in which he does not excel. His damage output, sustain, and survivability are consistently good. Lee Sin, when it comes down to it, is very reliable.

So how do you counter him? Lee Sin isn't very susceptible to CC, due to his innate tankiness and escape capability (getting him 100-0 before the CC wears off will be difficult at best). Lee Sin has high base damage, but scales rather poorly past the thirty minute or so mark - yet he still remains relevant due to ward jumping ult. He destroys the early and mid game (again, due to sheer reliability).

Lee Sin has two real weaknesses, as far as I can tell: His entire hard CC is locked into his ult, and the longer the game goes on the less relevant he becomes. I have not personally found a way to consistently utilize these to my advantage, but there they are.

I second this. Tell us how to 'counter' Lee Sin.

So tell us oh great one how do you beat him?

In about 3k games, I've learned that to beat him you need to ban him or play someone so balls to walls broken that it warps the entire game. ez pz guys no joke.

Countering Lee Sin is all about dodging his Q then going in. If he jumps away he has lost a lot of mobility for the next 15s. His ult is only good as either an engage/disengage or execute. Lee Sin got a huge indirect nerf in 4.20. The jungle is no longer up as frequently making him a lot less slippery as well as the jungle now is very hard for him to clear effectively and gank.

Build some early armor and juke his Q's. You should be fine. His Tempest is usually only used while chasing or running for dear life and is extremely easy to bait out.

He does terrible in team fights unless he gets a really good ult or you run around in the back with no hp and let him Q and kill you because you failed to dodge.

Perhaps because I play Yasuo and other high mobility champions often, Lee Sin is never a problem as I can match his chasing or escaping potential.

He is essentially a jack of all trades with an incredibly powerful move set early on that becomes less useful as the game progresses because he does not provide the best in anything. One thing I would change however is the damage on his ult. That much AD ratio on an AOE move is quite frankly stupid. Besides his Q execute, I often have AD Lee Sins kill me at 50% health with one ult.
