Riot must do better match making for NEW players!

I've written in the past my frustration as a new player having to put against smurfs but ever since passing level 15 or rather hitting it I've noticed the skill level of the enemy team going through the roof. So I check post match player levels and I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to see my team often all below level 19 put against players over level 20, 30 and 40 - constantly.

How on earth am I - a new player or for that matter ANY new player supposed to survive, learn or have fun with your game when you (Riot) match us against players with years of experience that decimate our team under 15 minutes?

How is that fun or good match making for a new players?

If you have any interest in retaining your new player base, you need to do better. At the very least people who have win rates well below 50% like myself that are clearly new players shouldnt not be put against players with so much more experience. Its completely ruining the fun for me and the likely hood I'll keep playing which in turn would make me a better player. I can't get better when my enemy pushes a win within 15m.

Funny enough I have a smurf acct thats lvl 25 and all ive gotten since lvl 5 are other smurfs and the occasional actual noob. Begs me to question how many actual new players are out there.

My friend started the game AT LEVEL 1 and was constantly matched vs experienced smurfs. By the time he was level 30 he was matched against Golds-Diamonds in normal games xD

Toxic boot camp xD

Seriously if you don't want to play with smurfs, you could try making new accounts until you learn

OR

Play bots more until you learn

I don't think Riot can make a system that can differentiate between a level 15 smurf and a level 15 new player

This game is overran by veterans of the moba genre and also people that have played league for years. There are a good few new players hanging around, but it isn't a big enough pool to consistently match you with new players. It's because most of the true new players are stuck getting rekt by bots.

Experience is not skill.

Some of the people who spent the most hours on lol are still bronze.

Would you prefer waiting 5 hours? League doesnt have a lot of new players

To be honest matchmaking was always like this. When i started i was a level 8 being matched against level 25s. They stomped me every time but I just took it as a learning opportunity. There are tons of things you can learn from just watching a higher leveled player play.
