He seems really fun... The skins are really nice (Reaper Hecarim), great mobility, good Jungler and top laner. He's very versatile. Though, I've also been looking at Gangplank. Good skins (Spectral Gangplank) and Gangplanks crits OP, amirite? I need help on this decision D;
EDIT: I also have the opportunity of getting Trundle. So, Hecarim, Trundle, or Gangplank.
Hecarim can take a giant horse dump on GP, though.
Hecarim's also much more fun IMO, encourages mobility without a ridiculous amount of dashes (long CD ult, despite that it's sort of a dash), brings a great kit for ganking and setting up ganks when laning.
In short, Hecarim's fun and provides a lot.
PS, he can use multiple different build paths with multiple different jungle items, making him extremely versatile.
He's still a strong jungler and top laner, pretty reliable, strong ganks. I'd certainly get him.
I play all three and hecarim is definitely my favorite
if you like champions that do a lot of damage and can run 100 mph then yeah he is a nice pickup
