What's on everyones mind with older machines.

My biggest complaint right now is I have a crappy laptop. Recently (as in the past couple months) I have been getting major fps the lower it to around 5 fps when I can run it on 60. Now with the new map coming out and part of the people playing on laptops and some computers that can barely run it will the new map design help lower the stress caused on older machines? Will there be new video aspects able to be turned off and on as in shadows or particle decreases?

My computer is worse than some people's toasters before their last toasters.

It's from 2006-7 with a 56kb video card that hasn't been updated since 2008. The fact that it plays League at all is nothing short of a miracle. In fact, it's running better than it has been in the past year since I moved all my keys (except for the 4 key, for wards) to smartcasting. I used to crash 2-4 times a match (the record was 7 in less than 30 minutes). Now I don't crash because of visual stuffs, now it's only when Riot's servers feel moody.

To put it in perspective, not only was it out of date when it was new, but it barely is over Terraria's graphics requirements.

I am afraid as fuck of the new Rift, but not truly concerned, seeing as how I spam ARAMs 80% of the time.

time for an upgrade.

too bad you don't have a desktop, all you'd have to really do is swap graphic cards and maybe a power supply lul we're talkin like 200ish upgrade here.

I honestly don't know but I can tell you what's on my mind when I'm staring at a loading screen for days because someone has hacked league to play on their Etch A Sketch, and it's not a happy thought. I'm glad this new honor system will try to pair you up with people you honor because now I can honor players who load quickly and hopefully those who load slowly will not honor me.
