My Experience with Dynamic Queue
Hi. I am a League newb.
I have been playing League for about a week now (excluding a handful of hours I attempted a couple years ago when I had no idea what this LoL thing actually was). To give you an idea of how new I am, I have never played a MOBA before, and I still don't know what exactly a "cs" is, or what killing the dragon or Baron specifically does for the team.
I have only been seriously playing this game since the installment of this thing called Dynamic Queue. I am a solo player and I love it.
I don't know what people are complaining about. I personally can't tell if I am playing against or with a premade or not. I have never received any "salt" or ire from other players for being the odd one out of a premade group. I have only encountered one player so far who I would consider reportable for flaming. I do not see a problem with toxicity in Dynamic Queue.
I win and lose about 50/50 in normals (I can only play normals for now.), which I would think is a good record. You win some, you lose some. You enjoy winning, and you learn from your mistakes in losing. So maybe I have lost to some premades? Well, if I won all the time, I would not feel like there is a challenge to the game.
As a newb, sometimes I play badly, and sometimes I actually am the one carrying the team myself.
I main
and
and I rarely have issues playing adc or mid. Sometimes things don't go perfectly in champ select but you learn to adapt. So maybe I can't play my favorite position of adc as
or mid as
? I will try out a new position and a new champ. It adds some variety and I get to learn new things and how to play as a team better. If I played Ashe and Kata all the time like I wanted, I might never understand the game fully and I will be less of a powerful teammate if and when I do try to break into the ranked play.
In the end, I am just here to have fun. I still don't know what a few of your terms mean, but I am learning. And Dynamic Queue has done nothing to keep me from learning. And a 50% win rate suggests that I'm doing just fine and there is nothing to be ashamed of in this learning process. Sometimes I feed and sometimes I absolutely embarrass the other team. But I learn and I have fun.
Dynamic Queue is fine. I love this game.
