Did the matchmaking change?

Been on a bit of constant losses lately and I did not know why, it was only after looking up my name on op.gg that I noticed that most of my matches have been against people in the level 100s,high silver,high gold, and in some cases plat 2 to plat 1. I am only in the level 20s and haven't even gotten to open up the rank matches yet let alone get into plat rating So I don't know why I am being put against these players.

Pretty frustrating to be honest since I know I am not good enough to deal with this and half my team is usually around the same rating and skill I am making it impossible to win any matches.
