My experience from two weeks Ranked after I my HUGE break from it ...
As you can see from the title, I decided to play ranked again after some time. After my first 12 ranked games (10 of them were the placements) I have played A LOT of Normals.
Ranked, however, was...different. Very different. You see, I complained a lot, that in Normals I (almost) always had to play people higher ranks than me (I was Silver 5). Most of the time they were Gold, and at the beginning I struggled against them, but as time went by I learned from playing against. However, when the enemy was higher than Gold 2, I still struggled.
Anyways my first ranked games were really easy I was laning against Bronze and silver and climbed pretty fast. I got to my Silver 4 promos, made it, but I even skipped directly to Silver 3 (I know for many that this isn't special, but for me it is.) I continued to Silver 2 and 1, right now I am Silver 1.
But there I noticed something that I absolutely hate. Remember when Riot made it easier for you to get level 30 this season? Yeah? I just noticed now the consequences. I had games with people who only had like 87 normal wins. For me it isn't enough. I also played against someon who had like ONE normal win, BUT many ARAM wins.
Of course it's a bit frustrating, but I found it a bit funny how different Dynamic Queue and Normals are for me.
