MAKE RANKED ARAM!
RANKED ARAM where the real players would show themselves. None of this "i play top lane only" crap! just makes the unbalanced teams work together that much more to win.

Wouldn't the rankings become largely meaningless after a certain point sense games are largely determined by team comp? There's only one real strategy to the game mode, which is just team fight when appropriate based on your random team composition. There are no objectives, or other strategies like 5th drag, split push, baron / base rush, etc.
i'd rather not have a ranked mode of something that's based almost entirely off of luck
I'd love to see this. Only caveat would be I'd need it to have a fair champ select. By fair, I mean each player is assigned champs from the same pool. So either all champs are available for ranked aram only, or else everybody gets randomed from the combined pool of champs owned by all players (sorta like they did with one for all).
And as somebody who's been an avid ARAM player since it was just a custom game on SR, the mode is not strictly about luck. There's legit skill there as well.
The thing is aram has a huge luck factor involved. Maybe if they include draft pick and you have 3 random champion you can select from, or you pick 3 random champion and the game selects it randomly
not pure luck.. teams win games.
They'd have to un-randomize the champ-selection a bit to do this (like how each bot position in Coop-AI is picked based on a subset group of champs) and each person would have to queue up as they do in dynamic queue for 2 roles.
I wouldn't mind it until all the bots get removed - It sucks being the one human with 4 bots vs a human team
That wouldn't work. Although I'm a support main I play all roles, but I don't play all champions. Playing a lot of ARAM's it's way more about luck than skill, having a ranked system based on luck wouldn't work out at all.
