What would happen if everything is a skill shot?

As an Adc main, its rough out here lol. After some annoying alistar lanes, it got me thinking, is it a bad thing if most things are skills shots? I hate the idea that some champions, the only way to outplay them is by being "far away". For example, Alistar, Naut ult, VI ult. I feel like champs like leona are pretty well designed, she has a lot of cc, but you can outplay her by dodging her initial gap closer. Alistar on the other hand, you just have to pray you support is a decent counter to him, or that his adc is weak(but even then, early game, alistar can almost 1v1 an adc lol, especially if they are immobile) or you just be far away. Im no challenger or rioter, but Ive seen people get dominated because of how OP cc lockdown champs are, and low elo isnt coordinated enough to peel for the adc.

Everything would be faster (skills shot vi ult at her speed lol), have more free ranges (alistar would be able to combo you from ~75 units further away since he doesn't have to hit you with the center of his hit box now), would make consistant damage much less reliable (are autos skillshots? How about Cass E?), and would limit aoe (how does sona q work?).

First off, it raises the skill floor significantly.

Second, mandatory abilities that need to lock on... IE: Vi ult, Cait ult, Sona Q, etc. Would need to be significantly weaker as they are the only ones of their kind.

Third. All abilities changed would now need to be stronger now that part of their power budget is gone, increase damage of the game, and some defensive ones, utility and range as well. (So now the Alistar more than likely does one shot you.)

I don't know if this is what you were getting at, but I thought it would be cool to try it out. ADCs AA become skill shots like EZs Q. Increasing their range and damage output. But amplifying the three things about even more.

Point and click abilities exist to keep hypermobile characters in check. In general, they're also much shorter range and power than other abilities which can miss/be dodged.
