Can We Get An Update On Minion AI Rules Please?
AI Priority List Follow any current specialized behavior rules, such as from CC (Taunts, Flees, Fears) Continue attacking (or moving towards) their current target if that target is still valid. If they have failed to attack their target for 4 seconds, they temporarily ignore them instead. Find a new valid target in the minion’s acquisition range to attack. If multiple valid targets, prioritize based on “how hard is it for me to path there?” Check if near a target waypoint, if so change the target waypoint to the next in the line. Walk towards the target waypoint.
Saw the above from 2016 while trying to figure out why my minions (and enemy minions) behave oddly at times.
This list doesn't seem to be valid anymore.
My minions regularly redirect their attacks towards enemy minions that are farther than their current target, and redirect their attacks often enough from live minion targets towards minions I am attacking that I lose cs because of it.
The cannon minion is even worse. It switches aggro in a pattern that I can only perceive as random. It may be attacking a minion in front of it in one moment, then switch to attacking the minion I was about to finish off instead.
Is there an updated Minion Behavior Rulset?
