Since the ranks reset will I be matched with high elo players?
So Since most people are unranked right now, will I be matched with plat or diamond or higher elo players (im silver :(. Or will the hidden mmr match people with similar mmr.

Only if they are playing on a smurf account that has never before played a ranked game. But this happens all season long and, unfortunately, is part of the reason why silver tier has such high variance. All accounts with a previous ranking undergo a "soft" reset to their MMR according to this algorithm: (previous seasons MMR+1200)/2 = reset MMR. Only under the rarest circumstances could you encounter a player who was ranked in platinum or diamond the previous season with some seriously tanked MMR but that should happen only once every million or so games for the next 2 weeks. Its highly unlikely, and if their MMR was tanked that badly but they retained the ranking they are most likely a boosted player any ways.

I ended S4 after a tilt from Silver 1, but got back to Silver 1 after the season and have been playing Golds/Plats in my promos. So probably no diamonds, but if you weren't like close to gold I wouldn't assume you'd pick many plats up.
