Zac's Running Animation Mid-E

So Riot just removed (fixed) the normal running animation that Zac had while he was mid-air E? I was able to do it because I simply had to click a Joke, Taunt or any other interaction to make him cancel the animation and I must say it was really funny most times. Was it really necessary to remove it? I would prefer to have fun with the glitch instead just straight up normal gameplay...
