Why Do Towers Even Exist?

There is no point to towers these days. Riot has made towers obsolete with the introduction of different Juggernaut items and in general making tanky items tankier. Basically if a champion builds tank they can sit under a tower indefinitely and just take no significant damage. Why would u make this a mechanic in the game? Even the fountain is useless these days. Looking back on season 1 (even season 4) the fountain could one shot any champion (its meant to be the safe zone in the game) but these days if you have tank just send them to the edge and make them tank the fountain for days and let your team clean up the opposition while they are healing in base. What a joke! At least take a break from creating broken champions (kindred) and put more time into developing your game better. Actually make the components and objectives of the game challenging. If the objective is to kill a tower, make it hard to do! Don't just introduce new items and champions and meta and then not buff the towers. Its a joke and you should consider fixing this hideous mistake!
