Ranked LP

Why is there no change to how much LP is given or taken? Win a game and get roughly 19-21 for the silver elo i am in. Lose and 16-18. What I wonder would be feasible is that if there are afk after the remake mark or intentional feeding that is reported, why lose the same amount of LP? Just played where we had our MF way ahead at 8-4 and we lost because she dc and we couldnt win with the 4 left we had. Seems like it would be easy enough to fix and would make for much better climbing for those trying to and hurt those playing ranked like normals and not trying and fix for those DC or AFK games. I know it happens and it isnt the only thing keeping me in lower elo, but it surely doesnt help either.
