Core damage type shift for ADC
I just had an idea as I thought about the way that ADCs are seen as problematic because we as a class type can crit nuke people out of existence. While sure it may be fun for me, I understand. I once stood on a Cait trap as Kog and got one shot through Bloodthrister. So I had a crazy idea. What if ADCs had base damage lowered, and instead they were given a standardized passive sweep that made them all do some kind of %HP damage? It sounds bad, but let me ramble so maybe someone smarter than me can make something. Say you have a lane bully like Cait, a Draven, and an Ashe. Cait has extreme range and is designed to fall off. She might only do 2% current HP, with a base damage minimum of say 50. Her base damage scales up as usual, but the crit is applied go the %HP damage instead? That way she literally can't scale into a hyper carry because an IE crit would only make her do 4.5% current HP plus any flat AD she has. But she can still just bully kids into the dirt with her range. Draven might have solid base AD, and maybe 4% Max HP dmg. Crits would only apply to an marksman % damage so that they can't have 800 damage crits on someone with 1500 HP, but the increase in % HP damage makes them better against tanks as a stable damage while not deleting soft targets. Ashe might only do say 2% Max HP, but she has her utility so it makes sense she does so little, she's meant to be a sort of pseudo hyper carry at six items. Am I stupid? I'm stupid aren't I.
