Let's keep on making the game even more noob friendly!

I just read about the tentative changes for patch 8.9 and I'm extremely furious from the beginning, where there are huge changes happening to mana regeneration.

The change apparently is that now Doran's Ring no longer grants 4 mana per unit killed. Instead, it gives +5 bonus damage on hit to minions, similar to Doran's Shield and to compensate, every mid laner mage is now being granted a flat buff to their mana regen and level 1 mana pool. WHAT THE FUCK, REALLY?

How is this good? Seriously. Who even thought of this? Managing your resources is crucial in the early parts of the game, and mana is one of them. Knowing how to use spells to push and/or poke is a very good skill that people learn over experience and having mana to do so is necessary. Last hitting minions with Doran's Ring is a good source of gaining that mana, and now that is removed and instead is being given passively to everyone? How is that fair? Last hitting is a whole concept on its own and is one of the first skill expressions any player gets to show in every game. Last hit well, and you get good gold advantages and you also get mana back to help with your spell rotations. Now, you just want to flat out remove that mana regeneration on kill, for what? Just to make unskilled and unable-to-cs players not have such a big disadvantage? Or is this the way to have mages compete against assassins?

I remember back in season 5 when I started this game and in season 6, where I was playing Viktor. Let me tell you, I practiced quite a lot in bot games to get good at csing early on (since after level 7 it's easy). I put in the effort to get good. Now, there is no need for that. Now, you just get free mana. You just spam spells, and not care if you last hit to replenish your pool, since you can sit there and AFK and get it back.

Seriously, why is this game becoming so freaking Newb-friendly all of a sudden? It started with the removal of jungle camp smites, because "different smites were too complicated for new players". Then, they forced a sightstone on the support item, because newbs didn't know how or why they need it, now we get this free mana thing.

Next thing you know, you might as well just remove minions from the game and let us have their gold income passively.
