AA move doesn't work properly...?

For quite some time now I can't kite at all with AA move. It just goes to the place I clicked with AA move like it was a normal right click. I have to click on two different places with AA move so that my champ starts attacking the nearest target. And I don't see anyone having the same problem, what gives ?
