Just came up with a term for a toxic kit style.

the one skillshot wonder.

or a champion that uses one skill shot, and if it hits they win, generally netting a kill. usually going melee afterwards as well.

notable examples of champions that can hit exactly 1 skillshot and then be expected to kill you before you can make any other movements.

This kind of champion design needs to be removed surgically. it is terrible for the game as it is a low skill maneuver with an incredibly high benefit and very little options for counterplay based punishes.

essentially a foo strategy without a brick wall. which is a piece of shit to fight because unless you are playing one of them or something that specifically and directly counters it, you can't beat it.

there should atleast be a natural counter to the strategy that is champion agnostic, something like what blitz kinda has, (blitz hook whiffs, good time to attack blitz or past blitz) or perhaps something else

maybe if a miss equaled out to a major deficit to the person firing, hit and auto win, miss and auto lose. More fair for the person playing against, but less fun perhaps.

Perhaps if a hit was less a kill and more a chunk. Nid hits spear and full combos to deal half health. More fair for the person playing against, but is still a bitch to deal with.

What if all of the 1 skill shot wonders were simply reworked into a different style of champion. Reworks fail all the time and honestly a lot of people would probs be mad as hell.

easy solution would be to nerf all 1 skill shot wonders, specifically targeting early game. that way die hards can work to figure out how to make it work while most of the community can just never deal with those champions.

and here is what I consider the best solution. make it so that the skillshot is the beginning of the combo, but the combo can be broken after it hits with a forgiving cc timing.

Imagine if lee had a 1.5 second channel cancelable ult, then he would need to be careful about using his ult, and it would have healthy counterplay options. therefore not making him a 1 skillshot wonder
