Is It Just Me, Or Is It Impossible to Have Fun With LoL Anymore?
The title explains it all, its impossible to have fun in this game, everything is fucking anti-fun, help, thoughts?

In ranked? Personally no, then again, ranked has never been “fun” for me. Even with friends.

I haven't been able to have actual fun since saying one word can get your account banned. With my account being under such a threat, I just have to mute everyone at the start of every game. Which is a damn shame. You can get banned for sticking up for a teammate who did nothing wrong. I am that guy in real life and WAS in-game.
In real life sports, I was always the guy that yelled at people for yelling at innocent people for no reason. I was also the first guy to run and stop fights if a fight broke out while everyone else just stands around and watches. But oh well, society is too soft now. Got to just give the bullies your lunch money now because you will be punished and they won't.
Nah, I stopped giving a fuck and started trolling in Flex queue with AD Thresh or Top lane bruiser Leona. Seeing the enemy team go "Wtf is that damage" is what brings fun for me. Ranked Solo Queue is just a fucking waste of time, filled with degenerate toxic apes who can't stand to lose, so dog-pile on the weakest link.

I keep saying to myself and these boards that im going to leave and find a game that's going to treat me real good, a month later im back and eagerly awaiting to see riot fix the game.
then BAM! a slap to the face with patch after patch with no significant changes or ones so poorly thought out that they break the game even more

Nexus blitz came at a time where I was getting new accounts perma'd before even hitting level 15
I got 3 level 20-25 accounts now because I'm actually having fun on the game. There's no meta, there's no macro. You just wander around killing shit. Fullmute all, knock people out of the bardle royale arena, it's great.
A lot of champs are unfun to play against now, too much mobility.

The only fun I get is from going Pyke and spamming R on people, playing Bard and fucking the enemy team or playing Xerath and landing every ability and nuking the enemy adc.

A major part of this is how they have restricted trash talk.

Yet, if you make the obvious joke in game, you'll get banned.
The other reason is that stuff changes so frequently and if you don't keep up with it, you will not have fun. That is a chore.
I have fun with like 4 champs and one role, sometimes. Used to play a lot more variety but with the way things have gotten its just a waste
I personally find the imbalance of champions the smallest of concerns. I want more balanced games where my stellar scores (maybe not as of late, but on occasion...yes) have more impact when I'm playing support. It really is impossible to have fun with nonstop flaming, feeding, cluelessness, imbalanced matches, playing against duo bot lanes, etc. Just really too many issues that diamond/challenger/pros don't ever have to deal with so the rest of us are fucked.
yeah man its been the same for me and my friends lately, we force ourselves to play a game here and there but having fun seems pretty difficult
Yeah leage games are no longer about "Work as a team to fight through enemy towers to destroy enemy nexus" And have become "Fight with your team to see who can score more kills till one side gets bored enough to surrender"
People dont look for teammates anymore, they are looking for thier cheerleading section (the 4 players who will spend the game kissing their ass and telling them how "OP" they are) Players are more interested in bragging how "solo carry" they are and how "trash" thier team is. But its hillarious how they still go on about how "its a team game" while they will use the same breath to talk about how "Worthless trash" thier team is. because that totally makes your team want to help you
Insult and degrade your team then turn around and report them for not throwing themselves on the enemy to save YOU. Tell your team how they are worthless garbage compared to you then turn around and call your team greifers because they refuse to follow you on your "20hp tower-dive" Big playz.
The whole community has become a fucking joke. Wrapped up in thier own sense of self importance, they all think they are "too good for this team"
I enjoy the game thoroughly if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't play.
yes, my current goal is getting into bronze 5. Im in silver 5-4 and I can single handidly carry games, very fun I win my lane every time
I still enjoy it because I've always played in mediation and avoided ranked, not quite to the extent of my teens but then that's a given - adults who play LOL should think about how they've changed first rather than going on LOL IS DEAD rants instantly and projecting the issue. I went through the autistic ultra nostalgia phase around 2015 where I advertised MapSkins mods on Youtube, but from that I learnt that nostalgia is a potent drug with a bitter realisation on its tail end if you obsess over it. Whenever people spam those GUYS WHAT IF WE BROUGHT BACK OLD CHAMPIONS OH MY GOD CLASSIC MODE EVERYTHING SOLVED threads I die a little inside. When you overdose on nostalgia outside slight glimpses, there is no coming back.
If you don't enjoy a game anymore stop playing or otherwise take a break until you get an urge to play again, games aren't a chore and there's thousands to choose from. Overwatch is the perfect example of that for me: I play for a few days every now and then, but only when I get the urge. Simple, right? Here's to hoping Nexus Blitz enables this drop-in drop-out style where you don't need to follow every patch and every meta thing.
yes i agree with you actually some new things are good for me some other not but the game after i try to enjoy it i see unbalanced things or many games end fast and too many other things that make me cant enjoy to play league like season 4 or 5 rip those days:( i mean i love 20% of new things but other 80% are making me cant enjoy the game like for example you like playing new reworks with burst damage but you dont like to be the oneshoted one yes that sucks at least some reworks like poppy or urgot are fine but the most other reworks sucks from my opinion and not only at reworks but at all i think that too many things should be reverted on league of legends
You cant have fun since this game doesnt requires brain to play. we are few patches away for this game to be for stomped or be stomped designed for new kids who like flashy shit.

It's possible, it's just that often times it comes at the expense of other people's enjoyment. Which is why so many people are complaining about the community at this point.
