Pretty self explanatory I just don't like muting everyone at the start of every match. I usually just put the chat box as off screen as possible but I was just wondering if being able to have mute all as the default would ever be a possibility.
We already have that....
yes it's an option you can re-enable in the client. you can also just type /muteall when the game starts.
Moving the chat box out of view may seem like a good idea to help you not be triggered... but it makes you a worse team mate for people to have.
Youre missing all the "x flash" and "x R" pings that tell you when someone flashed, or used ultimate.
Your missing all the "redemption, ult timers, and how many seconds before a support/jg can use their sweeper" pings.
Thats pretty handy info, and to avoid getting triggered, youre making yourself blind to the good information in that box.
Im understand the intention to just avoid the bullshit spew of angry salt mining 12y/o ragers nonsense novels in chat... I do, but consider that youre missing out on some good info too. Info that may change how you see the next fight going if you saw that the support was pinging "redemption-ready, ignite-ready, R-ready."
Anyway, if you cant avoid the triggering, hide that chat box... its better that you unaware of the good or important pings if you get held up and dwell on the rantings of people who rage. Best to mute, but not hide chat box, good luck.
