Riot, Lets Talk About Underwhelming Champions

Aside from how punishing playing a mana champion feels compared to others lets talk about something else.

Prior balancing nerfs.

Some champions hit hard with that nerf bat to gate them needed to happen. However, what im wondering is whats the possibility of taking a look at some of those gates that have been put into play? Are they still relevant and needed?

An example being Shen with his high energy costs and long cool-downs specifically in-placed to gate his influence on a game. Is it really needed anymore?

Just blindly reverting a nerf shouldn't happen. If you mean have them look at a champion you consider underpowered and find a way to buff them so they'll be played, then I can get behind that. But your post is so vague as to be nearly useless as a discussion unless you have examples of champions you want looked at.

You clearly don't understand the first principles of game balancing.

Riot will never 'revert' a nerf. Nor should they. They will, and do, continue to buff underwhelming champions already.

Pointless thread. /thread

In general, if a given champion needs buffs, the odds are terrible that the right buff is removing a previous nerf.

Better to figure out what is wrong with the champion today and fix that, rather than unfixing what was wrong with the champion yesterday.

For example, if Corki turns out to suck in 3 months, probably they won't be increasing his Q missile speed. Instead they'll give him better scaling AS, or increase armor shred on E, or something. Things that got nerfed generally got nerfed for a good reason.
